Tom Lynch for School Board

I'm running for school board to help lead Alameda Schools forward for the next 100 years.  Alameda is a unique community with great schools.  I believe Alameda Schools should be at the top of the list of all Bay Area Schools along with Palo Alto Unified, Cupertino Unified or Piedmont Unified.  To get to this level, the next Alameda School Board will have to work collaboratively to improve the quality and equity of our schools in Alameda while maintaining fiscal restraints, improving our teacher's salaries, and engaging parents. 

Primary Tasks

My five objectives for my 1st four years in office are:

  1. Improve the Quality of Education in Alameda
  2. Strive for equity of education across all schools in Alameda
  3. Support and reward our excellent teachers
  4. Provide fiducial oversight of AUSD budget
  5. Engage and encourage active parental support
